The National Mime Institute was established on 25th March 2016, realising the vision of Guru and Director of the Indian Mime Theatre, instituting a well-designed curriculum and training method for the development of Bharatiya Mukabhinaya.
This is the only acting institute in India that has developed its curriculum on the basis of Bharatmuni’s Natyashastra.
The institute offers a 1-year residential PG Diploma course in Mukabhinaya, nurturing talent for the stage as well as the screen.
